I had let Reed watch it before I did, because common sense media gave it a great review. One time I turned it on and sat down to watch it with him, and the first ten minutes of the movie had me crying like I cried at the end of the Notebook!! He said, "Mama, it's ok... The movie is sad right now, but it gets happy!" I was a little embarassed my four year old was comforting me over a Disney movie. lol

I saw the movie "UP" with a group of adults that had a range of developmental and physical disabilities ranging from moderate to severe. It was one of the most memorable movie experiences of my life. I was crying so much over the old man's lonliness and loss. It made me think of my husband and our life together. After the movie was over one of the ladies who was there could not get over how sad the movie was. She kept talking about it to me and I had to comfort her and talk about the happiness of the ending. I keep wanting to watch it with hubby but don't think I could make it very far before my tears would blur my vision.lolo

that movie was just too darn sad at the beginning for me. i seriously cried almost the entire movie. i do love Doug tho!!! i wish my dog had that collar.

The first time I saw that movie was with my son, and he was SO upset when the old man let his house go. He really got just how much that house meant to the guy and he was heartbroken that the man had to let it go. Really excellent movie, I really don't even think it's a kid's film.

I LOVE that movie! I cried so hard when I first saw it and I couldn't believe how sad it was lol but it is definitely a great movie, I refuse to watch the beginning though now hahaha
I also cried watching toy story 3 before I was pregnant hahahaha omg I'm a mess with movies lately though!

I didn't expect the death in the beginning, but it wasn't too bad to explain to my 4yr old. It was a good movie.

I loved Toy Story 3. I think that's my fav of the 3.
