I have no idea! Haha! My mom wouldn't buy me the cool clothes! I like Old Navy jeans back then though...they were so comfortable! She buys my brother the expensive jeans...because he won't wear anything else. Maybe I should have been difficult like that.

I went thru my baggy clothes phase.
Popular brand names were Tommy Hilfigier, Nautica, Polo, DKNY and all the similar in that category.

ooo, I'll post a pic. Let me go find one.

Here we go-- this is a pic of a pic, so it's not too clear.
But that was my average clothes for 9-11th grade. And then girls started to wear their normal size again...lol

The Gap. And Express had just started to be big. But I was also in high school in Seattle when Grunge became big, so it was cool to shop at thrift stores too.

I've never been a clothes horse. Plus my parents didn't have a ton of money and I grew up in a rich suburb. So I wasn't really up on what was cool.

In my group of friends, every dude had a "fatty no-face" a/k/a North Face (rich, hippie types). They wore a lot of Patagonia, a lot of thrift store buys, and a lot of big comfy sweaters. We basically looked like we could spontaneously camp at any moment. Even though we were just going to Papa John's or something. It's funny looking back on my hippie chick days. Oh the patchouli.
