Alex sleeps so little during the day now I swear my toddler sleeps more than she does some days she get 2-3 hours worth of naps npduring the day ( she never sleeps more than 30 min at a time ) and she still wakes several times at night but hats angry if she doesn't go to bed super early between 7 and 7:30pm
Anyone else have babies that seem to be up all day?

Braden has a lot of days like this too... yesterday was one of them. He took a couple 30 minute catnaps through out the day, I kept thinking each time he fell asleep that, "this time he is going to sleep for a long time" and then he would wake up. He finally crashed at 9:30 PM last night and then slept til 4 AM which was nice.

It seems to depend on the day for him, his sleeping schedule is still completely unpredictable.. some days he barely sleeps, other days he wants to sleep all day.

I am hoping over the next couple months we can settle into more of a routine, including an earlier bedtime. He doesn't go to sleep for the night until around 9 PM most nights, if he falls asleep at 7 PM he will only sleep for an hour and then wakes up.

Will only takes 1 good nap (1-3 hours) he will sometimes take 2 little cat naps (30 mins or less) one in the AM and one in the PM

I am fairly sure Kieran and Alex are twins separated at birth

Kieran is just like that. He never sleeps more than 30 minutes at one stretch. And Liam DOES sleep way more than Kieran does. Lately it has been very regular naps...predictable that is. He wakes at 8am and takes his first 30 minute at 10:00. His second one at 1:30. His third one at either 5:30 or 6. Then he goes to bed (after about 1 hour of fighting) at 9pm. He wakes at 1am and 4am to eat. Then sleep nurses with me until 7am. That last 3-hours in the early AM is not really good sleep. He is up a lot, just will nurse back to sleep.

Honestly, its horribly annoying. I rarely get more than 30 minutes to myself during the day.

Good Ashlee it's not just us and it is frustrating partlcularly because it can take up to ten fifteen minutes to get her to go to sleep ( we don't let her cry ) for a 30 min nap an we do this 3 to 6 times a day at least she goes to bed early but then she is up at 1 or 2 and ever 1 to 2 hours are than untill 7 or 8am when Elise wakes her

Jakob is the same way (most of the time)...I don't remember my other kids being awake so much...He's getting a little better about naps, but today he hasn't hardly slept...He just fell asleep at after 1pm and he's been up since around 7am...I'm not even sure he'll stay asleep for long....before I started putting him in his swing, he almost never napped....I hope that doesn't mean he's going to be a difficult sleeper as he gets older...I always bragged that my kids have always been good about sleeping lol

I am so relieved to read this. I just mentioned in another post that Lila has been awake for 8 hours she just now passed out but wont likely be out for long...
