The type of class all depends on the type of birth you want. If you plan to go all natural then a Bradley class or hypnobirthing class would be a great idea. If you plan to most likely have pain meds then a LaMaze class may be a better option.
I highly recommend taking a breastfeeding class so you can learn ways to cope with any issues that may arise Before they happen so you are prepared if they do.

The breastfeeding class I took was totally awesome and informative. It is also great to get to meet lactation consultants and other breastfeeding mothers. They can be a great source of support.
I took a class offered on base (not sure if they do it in the civilian world) that taught basic baby care for newborns. I always thought learning to bathe, feed, and comfort baby would just come naturally, but having someone actually show me how to do these seemingly common sense tasks was wonderful. They even taught DH how to change a diaper, cause he was totally clueless.
At this class they introduced us to the Baby whisperer and I highly recommend buying or renting his video "The Happiest Baby on The Block" It was extremely helpful for us especially the first few weeks after getting home with baby.
