So our babies are or nearing the first quarter of the year. Do you have any ideas about what you will do for their first birthdays?

I know, I'm rushing it! I don't want it to come at all!

11/22 babies have their first birthday on Thanksgiving this year. I think we will just add a bday cake to the holiday events since the family will be together anyway.

Not even thinking about it yet... I have 2 kids bdays before that... and I'm not even thinking about them

Haven't even thought of it lol. I'm still enjoying Lily's babyhood too much lol.

Already pinning ideas on Pinterest... My babies have blowout birthday parties probably only because I really never had anything but family gathering birthday parties growing up.

So far, 3 layer cake in hot pink and black and fruit rainbow skewers. Maybe balloon topiaries. Photos all around room of first year like I did with my older child.

I wanna do something awesome but not sure what. I might do what was done for birthdays for me and my sisters, which was pizza, cake, and family. I loved those birthdays. But we'll see.

I've thought about it a little bit! I'm not sure what we'll do. It'll probably just be at our house with family and close friends. Unfortunately I'll probably be more worried about both of my parents being there cuase they haven't had any other reason to be since they divorced. They saw each other briefly at the hospital but didn't cross paths most of the time.

It will depend on the weather what we do exactly, but probably pizza or bbq and appetizers, cake, presents, etc. Once he's older I'd like to rent a bouncy house or do it somewhere with games and such but at 1 he doesn't care enough to spend all that money

We spent $1,000 accidentally on my last baby's first party because we had two parties, one home and one in DH's hometown. I definitely don't want to spend that much this time but I'd love to do something cute. We had my last baby's at a children's museum in a really adorable room and I wish I knew of more places like that.
