Anyone know what age you're supposed to start these? I'm thinking they'd keep lo occupied while we're eating. He sits in his high chair at home now with a couple towels rolled up to help keep him stabilized. Once he can Sit in a high chair in public ill definitely be getting some.

I cant wait to see his face when he sticks something is his mouth that actually tastes good!

I know others will disagree with me on this but I could tell Kaylee was ready for these things and gave her her first Mum Mum (just half of one) last week. She loved it! She didn't have that tongue reflex that pushes stuff out of the mouth right away, so once I saw that I felt better about giving it to her. She sits fine in her high chair, unassisted.. without the high chair she can't sit up too long without toppling, but in the high chair she's fine. She also can hold onto the Mum Mum just fine on her own and gets it into her mouth without much aiming trouble (sometimes she hits her nose.. it's pretty cute). She just sucks on a bit, makes it all soft, then she gums it like a pro before swallowing. She hasn't even gagged once! I also gave her a few sweet potato-flavored Puffs and she was fine with those, but I like the Mum Mums better for now. She's working on that pincer grasp so she can pick up the puffs on her own, but isn't as good at that yet as she is just holding the Mum Mums.

I gave Olivia some sweet potato puffs last night for the first time. She has a really hard time grabbing them right now since she can't do the pincher grasp yet, but I helped her out and she LOVED them. Gnawed on them and swallowed just fine.
