I added snaps to a diaper, finally!! It was much easier than I thought it was going to be!

I took one of Kaiden's really used/abused flannel diapers so I wouldn't care if it didn't turn out. I modeled the snap design after the Bumboo's, mostly . . . they have more rows of snaps for adjusting the rise and I only put them on at the rise I needed. Definitely don't like that snap design on my diaper design . . . I let him play coverless and he had a terrible case of wing droop after a few minutes! Have to add more snaps to the waist flaps I guess.

Anyway, now that I'm not scared of the snap pliers . . .

First attempt - 2 rows of snaps, with a snap crossover on the waist flaps:

(keep in mind this is a SUPER abused diaper!! LOL)

Didn't like that, bad wing droop so I added more snaps to the waist flap.

Happy with that, no wing droop, but that means 8 snaps to close a diaper which I think is a big PITA. Pins are quicker!!! So I have a couple more ideas on snap designs I need to try out.

Cute diaper! But I agree, 8 snaps would take forever. I bet you'll come up with an awesome idea, though.
