I need a good pattern for pocket diapers. I kind of just winged it for my newborn covers. They turned out ok, they were usable, but I don't want to just wing it for this...

I started out with the WeeWeka pattern, but I do think it's too narrow between the legs for stuffing inserts. a lot of people like the rita's rump pattern.

I started with the Rita's Rump and made adjustments from there. I also have made some by spreading out a sposie and roughly tracing the shape.

Are you thinking a free pattern or a paid for pattern? I've got a ton of suggestions regarding paid for patterns, but I don't think I've ever sewn up a free pattern...even though I have them.

If you don't mind paying, the best user friendly one in my mind is the Darling Diapers Unlimited. The best fitting One Size is a toss up between Very Baby and the tester for the Hippy Hippy Snap One Size that I'm testing right now. For chunky babies, a good sized patter is the Fattycakes. I also like La Di Da, but those can be a little tight to stuff.
