I'm Kelly and I'm currently 14 weeks along with my first. DH an I are planning to cloth diaper, but I was hoping I might be able to save a little more by making some myself.
Does anyone have a good pattern for a one-size diaper? I'm planning to make AIO One-Size because I've used those before and they're abut as close to disposable as you can get. DH is a little reluctant.
I'm no expert to be sure, but I can sew a straight line.
My favorite one is Mosaic Moon pattern. It comes with a newborn pattern that fit my newborn perfectly. The one size pattern is designed for the front to fold down to fit a smaller baby and fit my son until he was a 3T-4T size. He is huge 98% and not fat, but stocky. His bone structure is big! They didn't last through potty learning, but neither did disposables! I had to teach him to use the potty before he was ready because he was too big. He is a size 6! My average size 2 1/2 yrs old fits just fine!

Totally late to this, but I have no complaints with the BaaBaaBaby patterns. I've altered it some for my kiddo, but it's fine as is. And it's free! A lot of people also like the Rita's Rump Diaper pattern - also free.
