Hi all, my name is Alissa and I’m 20 years old. My fiancé and I accidentally did the BD on my fertile days (I just started a new job and was NOT paying attention). I am 12 dpo and I just got a BFP. I am so excited yet totally scared! I know I’m a bit young but nevertheless ecstatic about becoming a parent! I am hoping this little thing sticks around and keeps AF away... Kind of silly to say, but I’ve already googled a million pages and they are more scary than helpful I am excited to meet you all and congrats on your BFPS. Lots of sticky sticky dust to everyone here!

Alissa!

edit to original post:
I miscalculated. EDD is actually Dec. 2!

Congrats to you too! I’m still in awe right now. I keep doubling checking that thin pink line next to the dark pink one to make sure it stays!! I’ll be 21 when I deliver (hopefully). I feel so stupid saying hopefully after everything but this is my first and everything seems so fragile!

I know the feeling. I didn't sleept well the entire first trimester when I was pregnant with my son, I stressed over absolutely every little thing. As hard as it sounds, just try to enjoy it all. I've been so excited to be pregnant again since I had him that this time around I'm just enjoying it as it comes...all day nausea included

Yeah I still have to wait a few days for AF to not show up so I’m hoping this is all real and good. I took a cheapie test after the expensive one and that is still coming back negative so I just have to wait it out. It’s silly but I still feel like the positive could be a false positive even though I know that’s next to impossible!

Congrats too you. First babies are always so exciting. My cheapie was negative the same day my expensive one was positive. I took another expensive one and it's darker.

ahh thanks keybird this is reassuring! I’m glad to have this website because my poor fiancé has watched me stare at those little pink lines for hours today just thinking that I’m crazy!

Congrats and Welcome..This is my second and I'm excited, nervous and scared too!! I had my first son when I was 22 and I'll be 25 with this one!! I don't think you are too young!! it all depends on the person, some people in the thirties don't know how to be a parent!! You'll do great..and any questions you may have don't hesitate to ask.

oh and google is your worst enemy seriously it will scare you!!

Lurking here from the November DDC. I just wanted to say that your more expensive test may be able to trace lower amounts of HGC than your cheaper test. That's why it was probably negative.
Good luck! And congrats!
