If I calculate my due date from my LMP (as my OB's office does) I am due the 8th. But I ovulated late this cycle, and I am actually due on the 16th. I told the girl at the OB office that my ovulation puts me a week behind where they put me, and she told me that they always go by LMP. This tells me that they will be doing things a week ahead, or I will always be measuring a week behind. I did not press the issue too much with the receptionist at the office since using their dates gets me in for an appointment a week earlier, but I really want the info that they are using to be accurate. To me an 8 day difference is pretty significant, especially since I am induced a week early due to health issues.
Has anyone else had this issue? Were you able to get your doc's office to finally listen to you and change your due date?
