Hey ladies,

I live in Philadelphia, PA and receive WIC and the father of the baby lives in New Jersey, once the baby is born would he be able to collect WIC in NJ if I'm collecting in PA?

only one parent can collect wic. IF both are trying or are collecting its using the system and wrong b/c they are taking from someone else who needs it.

Ditto what Jessica said, plus if the baby lives with you in PA and not with the father, they wouldn't give it to him. Its not like foodstamps as far as I understand. ITs for pregnant women and children under 5.

Dads can collect too Bay but they only get things for the baby. My brother has to collect wic for my nephew b/c my sil didn't have a green card only a working visa.
