Yep, and I've already done it The forms are at my doctor's office which I completed among with DH's work insurance info, what type of room I want, etc. and dropped off at the Administration desk. But I've found that with my other pregnancies, that when you get admitted to the hospital, they ask you for that info all over again.

Yes, and it usually has to be done by the end of your 2nd trimester. My insurance registered me, but my Dr.'s office also sent in my registration last week.

They don't require pre-registration as far as I am aware of, but I did it anyways. I got a folder with info from the hospital from my doctors office, then I went online and did the pre-registration.

yes, we had a "booking appointment" at 12 weeks. They just wanted to know family history, history of any anesthesia I've had in the past, that kind of thing.

I got a booklet from my OB's office for my hospital at one of my first visits and it wanted the pre registration done by 12 weeks. Seemed awful early to me! But I did it.

They don't reguire pre-registration, but I totally recommend it. Lol. I remember sitting in the admin office filling everything out with my daughter after my water broke. It was highly annoying. We will do our pre-registration on the same day that we do our hospital tour. They still aske a few questions when you come in to deliever, but at least I won't have to fill out pages of paperwork.

I just registered for my Hospital tour & Pre-Registration for November 20th! I can't sign up for my child birthday class until they add the date to the calendar, and the reccommend taking in December for me. They only offer it once a month, and the first week in November is too early. Lol

I am not sure. I never did it with DS, but maybe I should have because they ask you sooo many questions and they wont leave your room until they have all your info. I was sitting in the hospital bed with my water having broke and really needing a dam* jonny and they wouldnt give me one until the lady finished her questions.
Off to check the hospital website!!

My hospital does require me to pre-register but when I was in L&D yesterday DH did a bunch of paperwork and the lady told him that was the pre-registration but we really dont know. I didnt want to stay around and ask so we just went home so I can take a nap, so I will be asking at my next OB appt.
