I’m pretty sure this has been discussed before but since we’re closer to the end….

I’m going to start this off by saying that I work for a medical company and we have certain things available to us that are some really awesome products. This is by no means stuff I’m selling to you guys (I’m not even a sales rep, I make sure people abide by the laws)

Anywhoo one of the products I’m bringing is an adhesive remover. I figured with IV’s and tape that will be put on my body and how much it hurts to get off that I can use this stuff to help lessen the pain. The stuff is awesome and I even use it to remove stickers in the house, stuff off of jars or bottles or dishes when you first buy them. Overall it’s a great household product as well as bandaid remover, hahah.
The one other product is a Lidocane numbing gel that I can use before they prick me with any needles or IV’s. I don’t want pain! Lol

That’s all that’s planned for now with my hospital bag, I figured everything else I’m still using, like clothes, pillow, blanket etc. I could probably throw in some tiny bottles of shampoo and body gel etc. Hmm might do that tonight. So don’t’ want to pack anything else until maybe my 38th week.

What do you have in your hospital bag? What do you think are essential items?

I haven't even thought about a hospital bag yet. Probably just clothes and a pillow. If I need anything else I am sure someone on a home-bound trip, for sleep, can bring whatever back to the hospital, when they come back.

I'm lucky my hospital gives you a bag full of what you might nees like tucks pads soap shampoo comb brush stuff for hemroids pretty much anything you could need to be more comfortable...even ear plugs.

I ALWAYS bring chopstick because the air is always zinder and my
Lips get cracked so easy. I also bring my cell phone charger.

With DS1 I was really uncomfortable and exhausted after 18 hours of labor and going to all the classes and such but with DS2 I felt GREAT and was bored during the say so this time I'm going to bring a book or something to read in case that happens again.

Other than that pjs and underwear and slippers and something to go home in.

We need to bring things for the baby too, but for myself, my essentials are

~Lip balm. My lips got so dry from breathing through my mouth, i was so glad i had it!
~Fleecy socks. My feet were freezing. afaik its a general labour thing, so i'll def have them this time!
~Some cereal bars or something. I was starving last time, but it was during the night and the midwives couldnt get me anything to eat, and dh was famished!
~Some hemorrhoid wipes. The cream they give you in the hospital is awesome, but these wipes are soooo soothing.

I cant think of anything else off the top of my head! I'm sure i'll be back!

What type of hemmoroid wipes do you use? I may have to throw some of these in there as well.

I will be packing my comfy pjs, and slippers, clothes to come home in, chapstick, bathroom stuff (toothbrush, tooth paste, shampoo) & babies coming home outfit. They give us diapers & wipes there. I really haven't thought of much else, oh my camera & cell phone with chargers. Lol
