What are you doing to nest? Anything at all? What things have you gotten ready and what things do you still have left to do?

Today I went and bought some little scratch mittens, hats, and socks for the newborn stash. I also am almost done washing all of LS's clothes and have proceeded to fold them and organize them by month/size I still need to get a stroller and carseat, but am waiting until after the baby shower. I also need to get my diaper stash together QUICK :O I have two gDiapers and that's it.

I'm not really nesting with baby stuff so much as everything else in the house. I even really wanted to mess around in my garden today. What that has to do with prepping for a baby, I do not know.

I have yet to feel the "nesting." In my head Im like ok I really should or need to do this or that. Or those floors look like they need to be mopped, but my energy level is sooooooo lown I really dont feel like doing anything at all. I have done a big load of Brea's clothes but thats it. There are still a lot of clothes to wash but I really want to wait till after the shower. I am really hoping I have energy by then. Even when I was pregnant with Aiden I never had a nesting thing going on.

I have the urge to nest but ZERO energy!!! I would love to get the nursery all done, but DH is still painting. We have one coat of paint on the walls then we can do the second and then we can finally put it all together!!! I can't wait. Otherwise there are a million things I want to do, but never get around to them!

School has delayed my progress alot. The SO is organizing his stuff in the house now so he is making up for my lack of nesting. When our washer and dryer comes in I need to wash all of the babies fabrics for the carseat, bouncer, swing and put all that stuff back together. I need to touch up some paint around the outlets in his room. and then decorate. I just have not had the energy to do anything

I've gotten almost all my homebirth supplies ready.. I've washed and sorted all the baby clothes and blankets/bedding. At around 34 weeks I will begin making freezer meals. I am trying, in general, to keep my house cleaner so I don't have to do as much intense cleaning at the end.

I have started feeling more of an urgency to get ready the past week or so. I've started buying some things i'll need in hospital and getting some lists together.

I have zero interest in getting the house organised tho!

I washed all princess's clothes and bedding about a month ago, but I've yet to wash her stuff she got from the baby shower

I have to get more socks, mittens, hats, some lotions and ointments, bottles for night feeds, breast pump, CAR!!, probably a couple more warm tops in case Summer doesn't kick in nice and warm! I THINK that is it!

I don't have much left to do We only have to buy bottles, really. Stroller & playpen are bought, and I ordered the swing & bouncer so waiting for those to be delivered. As far as clothes go, we're all set and his dressers are nice & organized. I'll pack the diaper bag around 34-35 weeks.

No nesting here. I never nested with Stella either. I wish it would kick in because my house is a mess!

Here it is Zeb!

My midwife gives me a Birth Kit near the end. It has:
sterile gloves
cord clamp
newborn hat
chux pads
postpartum pads and briefs
herb bath for after birth

The supplies I get myself are:
8 oz olive oil for perineal massage (I am planning on a waterbirth, but will keep this on hand anyway)
Soft paper towels
Bulb syringe
Several towels and receiving blankets (I use brown towels)
Several washcloths and hand towels
2 large dishpans or bowls (one for placenta, one for her supplies)
Large trash can
Laundry basket
Small fishnet for scooping yuckies out of the tub (poop, lol!)
Waterproof pads/sheets (I keep different sizes and materials on hand to put on the floor or bed)
An extra set of clean bed sheets
Plenty of pillows
Birth ball
Whatever I plan on wearing in the tub (I'm going to wear an exercise-type tank top so pictures and videos won't show everything )
Plenty of juice, water, and snacks

(My midwife also recommends a flashlight, but I've never needed one.)

The word "nesting" kinda bugs me and here's why.

My mom will call or something and be like "Hey Jess, what ya doing?" And I am like "Oh nothing really, just cleaning." And she is like "You're nesting because your pregnant" um no, I have been a clean freak my whole life and clean every single day. I have not dont anything different. lol Does putting the baby clothes away in his dresser mean nesting? If so then I guess I have.

I wrapped the Christmas presents I have already purchased today. I don't want to think about buying or wrapping gifts at 9.5 months pregnant or 2 weeks post partum! I know I am crazy! My house is a wreck.

Agh! That's me too! I an quite OCD about cleaning/organization and everyone knows that - but all of a sudden, if I do it now (like I normally do!) it's called nesting. What the heck?!

That being said - my Girl Scouts have been working on cleaning out the building we meeting in, so I think all my "nesting" energy is going to that. We've taken out SO much trash in the last few days, it's ridiculous!

oh getting Christmas gifts already and wrapped is a good idea!
I was nesting like crazy but since we finished her room I've completely stopped. I need to buy a couple of things and wash all of her clothes. Oh and I still have to go to the cloth diaper place to find out about renting a batch of assorted ones

I have the urge to have everything done, but my DH has to do so much before I can begin anything and right now my upstairs is a mess because of the projects in the rooms. So no nursery, all baby stuff is in the middle of my dining room. Our washer is broken causing me more stress. I need to do just about everything so though I want to I can't yet.

I havent even begun to nest yet lol. I do clean my house daily simply because I dont want DH to ask me what I do all day every day lol. The clothes that I have bought are not washed yet but hanging up in the closet. All of my diapers are also in the closet. So I dont have a nursery to set up but rather babys closet lol.

Part of me wants to wait until I see what I get at my baby shower but it isnt for another month and I havent even sent out invitations yet so things just seem very unfinished. My mom asked me to send her a list of big things that I need/want and I did, so I am waiting to see if she is going to buy anything from it before I get the rest. Just thinking about it all has me EXHAUSTED!
