Yes Gary has been getting the cereal in his bedtime bottle since he was two months old. But now we've added a veggie once a day, about two ounces.

Hunter has started getting cereal at night and occasionally in the mornings. He will eat about 6to oz of formula with cereal and then another 2 oz of just formula.

Madison hasn't gotten solids yet, I PLAN on waiting until 6 months. I think I am about to get AF because I am struggling with supply right now and wonder how we will make it. She still wakes up 3 times to eat overnight.

We've tried cereal (she gets it in her bottles for reflux) by spoon and she does great but I wont introduce fruits/veggies/etc until 6 months unless she becomes unsatisfied with breastmilk alone.

Yes, Ravyn eats about 2 oz of oatmeal mixed with an ounce of formula and 2 oz of fruit for breakfast in the morning around 6:00 AM. At 12:00 PM she eats 2 oz of veggies and 2 oz of fruit. At 6:00 PM she eats the other 2 oz of veggies and 2 oz of fruit. She is on 2nd foods so they are 4 oz jars or Earth's Best. She gets half for lunch and half for dinner. On top of all of that she still drink 36 oz of formula a day! I have a little piggy

None here. I start introducing solids right at 5 months so we have another month and a half to go.

Crystal, that's great she is so big and healthy!. When did you start introducing solids and did she take to them right away or did it take some practice? My oldest didn't like solids at all, it took a few weeks for him to take them so I wonder how Gav will do.

My plan is to play it by ear but I'm not going to buy jarred, just give regular foods so whenever he is ready for that. I'm thinking i may start letting him suck on different things and put some soft stuff in front of him in another month or so. That would make him 4 1/2 months, just to start tasting and experiencing not necessarily getting full from them or using them for major nutrients. As of right now that's the plan at least, until then ebf my little man and he eats a lot.

We've stared a little bit of cereal here - she loves it! We're going in for our 4 month appointment next week so we'll see what our pediatrician says about introducing fruits and veggies.

We might introduce cereal this weekend. I was in such a hurry to do this with Stella, but this time around I seem to want Duncan to stay a tiny guy forever!

Miles has 2 Tbsp. of Oatmeal mixed with one ounce of formula at dinner time (evening meal). He has really taken to it! It's messy, but he loves it!

I am catching up with you!! Scarlett has 2 - 2oz of food a day with cereal. She actually likes it when I mix the cereal with the fruit so I am thinking of going to stage 2 food soon. And she drinks about 32 oz of formula a day.

I REALLY wanted to wait until closer to 6 months cos i wanted to do baby led weaning, but my little guy was just starving. He went from six 7oz bottles to ten 9oz bottles a day. thats 90oz of formula! he was spitting up alot more than usual because he was just full of milk. So we started on solids.

He has 2 meals a day, he has porridge in the morning, i make it up according to the packet, its a tablespoon of powder to 3 tablespoons of milk, he eats that and has a 7oz bottle afterwards.
then at around 6.30 he has a bowl of veggies or fruit (i alternate the days). I dont know how much of it he eats, i fill the bowl and keep going until he refuses it. he has a 7oz bottle after that too.

So he has gone from ten 9oz bottles to six 8oz bottles a day. he is much happier!

I'm sorry Bay! I'm just now seeing this. I started cereal at about 3 months with her. She took it right away. Opened her mouth like a little birdie and all! I couldn't believe it! None of my other kids took to a spoon like she has. You may be surprised by how well Gav does
