I made my first batch of food for Duncan this weekend and I am pretty darn excited about it! I did carrots and used a stick blender to puree and an ice cube tray to freeze it. Now that I see how easy it is, I wish I would have taken the time to make Stella's food. I cannot wait to make more! Just wanted to share!

It seriously tok no time! The longest part was cooking the carrots. Cook, puree and strain, done! I am going to make some more tonight since Chubs has already ate half of the first batch I made! As for a pic, I will post one tonight of the batch that I will be making. I took a picture of the last batch, but I already had it in the ice cube tray and covered with plastic wrap and the wrap fogged up on me so the pic looked like crap!

Regina hated jarred baby food. We just cooked everything really mushy and smooshed it by hand to feed her.

Here is the batch that I made today. It was about 1 hour from start to finish. That includes peeling and cutting the carrots and the cook time and a break of two to watch TV!
