Alissa's post about making homemade cleaning products made me remember that I wanted to post this recipe on here and I keep forgetting.

[U]Homemade Shout[U]

2/3 Cups Dawn dishwashing liquid

2/3 Cups Amonia

6 tbsp baking soda

2 cups warm water

Mix everything together and pour into a spray bottle. Spray your stains and let sit a few minutes then wash as usual.

Anybody else hae any other good laundry recipes?

thanks for the recipe!

I don't make my own laundry detergent, but I have seen several easy ones I'd like to try one day. The duggar recipe looks like a good one:

The Duggar Family - Duggar Recipes - Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap- Front or top load machine- best value

I make my own laundry soap with the oxyclean, borax, and oxyclean and I cloth diaper. Granted I use prefolds so I don't really care if the soap might be harsh. For regular soap I add a bar of grated soap to the recipe. I'm excited to try the spray and wash one you posted.

Yeah see I use pockets and I read something about Borax being bad for them. IMO going by everything I've read, EVERYTHING has something in it that it shouldn't lol. I have a homemade oxyclean recipe that I was given if you would like it as well. It's soooo easy! I use it ALL the time!

1/2 Cup Peroxide
1/2 Cup Baking Soda
! Cup water

Mix together and add it in with your laundry when you wash. You can leave it to soak for a while too if you want.

This is my detergent recipe (I double the washing soda and borax). I haven't had any trouble with my CDs. I love making things myself. It is so easy and cheap.
