How's it going with yall? Leila is mostly EBFed but technically gets solids here and there. She had solids for about 8 days and then has had them once since
Otherwise she's getting only BM. I'm almost to my original goal of EBFing for 6 months (OMG where does the time go?!?), so now I'm considering to keep on going and perhaps extend breastfeeding beyond one year. I'm doing lots of research on the benefits of extended breastfeeding, and would like to make an effort to at least get to one year... and then evaluate from there.

What about yall? Is BFing going well? How's your supply? etc.

I can't believe you've been BFing Leila for almost 6 months!! You rock!!!

It is going well here! Levi is still EBF and seems to want to stay that way for the time being. He doesn't like solids. He had been getting up 5-8 times per night but the past few nights has only gotten up 2-3. I'm hoping he continues this! My supply is pretty good right now. He is getting chunky and seems satisfied, so I think I have enough.

We're doing good over here too Supply is good, he's eating well and we're gonna EBF until 6 months as well. I'd also like to continue for a good amount of time, i'm very content and comfortable BF'ing plus he's a big fan of the boob so i don't see myself stopping anytime soon

EBF here as well. Not planning on solids for another 2 months at least- it's just a hassle in my opinion, lol. Supply is great, BFing is going really well. I think this is like the honeymoon stage of breastfeeding easy and efficient! My goal for Dahlia is 18 months, but it will depend on if I end up getting pregnant again before then and I dry up from it. Otherwise, I would love to go as long as she likes!

I'd love to get to 18 months too or even longer, but I also dry up (or close to it) pretty quickly after I get pregnant.

I'm weaning now. Josie gets BF now only 3 times a day and the balance is formula. My goal was to BF for one day and see how it went to I'm pretty happy I've made it this far! I plan on stopping at 6 months.

i consider myself a part of this group. i pump and rarley bf. its going well but the pump isn't as efficient as her and every growth spurt i have trouble keeping up and boosting my supply. have a nice freezer stash and i may start solids at 6 months just to give pumping a tiny bit of a break so i can keep up with her until hopefully 1 yr.

Still BFing here. I don't always get enough to feed her the next day from pumping at work, so sometimes she will have a bottle of formula while i am at work if I don't have enough breastmilk.

I'm an exclusive pumper here but still consider myself part of this crowd! I started taking fenugreek about a week ago and it has seemed to help my supply some. There are days when I break even and other where I come up a few ounces short but I have a great freezer stash so I'm hoping to make it as long as can. My goal is one year. We haven't started solids yet. Plan on starting next week with some cereal.

I am just proud to make each day!

I ebf as well. No solids yet and don't really want to start them till 6 months at least. What I pump at work she gets the next day.
Average is about 14 ounces a day. Lina loves bf and I love bf her so no plan to stop any time soon. I breasted my 1st dd for 1 year and I hope to go beyond that with Lina. With dd1 I got sick of bf her and abruptly made her wean because I was just done. Looking back I shouldn't have done it that way but I needed my body back to myself at that point.

Still breastfeeding and plan to as long as she wants too. No solids and no formula supplementation ever, and plan to not feed solids until June 11th when she turns 6 months. We will give BLW a shot. I have a medium sized freezer stash and sometimes struggle with supply since I have to pump alot, so I take more milk special blend with additional fenugreek through out the day and a mg/ca/zinc supplement as well. Just found myself a plugged duct, yay! Why am I up at 1am? Going to regret it... eghh.

DS is not EBF except on the weekends. I pump during the week in the morning and at lunch, then feed him normally at night. He is supplemented with formula and he has one or two jars of baby food a day. I will most likely stop by August and he will be formula fed. Pumping is one of my least favorite activities and I do not plan to when I go back to work in the fall. However, if my supply can handle it, I may nurse him in the morning and at night for a while longer. I was so obsessed with breastfeeding with DD that I wasn't in a good place mentally. This arrangement has been working really well for us this time around.

It's going very well for us here! Noah has only has breast milk. No solids yet, and I don't plan to start until he's 6 months at least. We'll see what happens then. If he's not ready for solids that's cool too. I nursed DS1 for 13 months and I'm planning to nursenoah for *at least* that long. Maybe longer, depending on my supply and what we both feel.

My supply has been great this time around. I have some fenugreek on hand, just in case. I try to eat oatmeal several times a week too. I pump twice or three times a day at work, and exclusively BF in the evenings and on weekends. It's honestly one of my most favorite things about being a mom. I can do something for him that benefits him in so many ways, and it keeps us super close and well-bonded too.

We are still breastfeeding, supply has dropped a little. We introduced solids at 4 months at just a few tbs a day Deanna is now almost 6 months and is up to 1 full jar to 2 jars a day but still feeding every 2-3 hours. We would like to find a bottle she will accept this month so I can start pumping and others can feed her but no luck so far.

All bOOb & solids here. We started solids at 4 months & he is going strong! No formula.. except when I make his oatmeal. He nurses every 3hrs during the day & night with a long break between 9p-2a. He gets solids 2 or 3 times a day. He gets oatmeal & a fruit for breakfast. Depending on him he will get lunch and dinner or just one or the other. Depends on the day. This kid lovessss to eat! He giggles at the sight of the spoon & jar. haha!

Going great here! Colton eats 3 meals of solids a day and I BF 4 times a day now. He gets up at about 9:30 and goes to bed at about 10:30, so when he's awake he is pretty much eating! I'm glad it's going so well as there isn't really a formula that works well for him. I had to supplement back when he was 3 months old and found out he has a milk protein allergy. In addition, he has a soy sensitivity. Oh, well! I'm really enjoying bf-ing him.

For those of you that remember, he had dropped down to the 1% back when he was 3 months old. He's now in the 30%!!!!
