I am NOT the most technology inept person but DH makes me crazy. It's not hard to follow directions or to learn how to use programs if you try. My DH has absolutely no patience for learning anything. Honestly I'd rather sit down & do a ton of work myself to get it done then try to explain to him how to did. Here's an example: our HP printer hardly ever wants to scan when we need it to. It always tells me that the LCD needs an update, so I update it & that doesn't work, so when I read the tutorial on how to fix it, several consumers say unplug it & replug it in. I do that. That only works if I've done the update twice. It's highly annoying. The part that is frustrating is he sees the things pop up & ALWAYS says, I've never seen this before. Really? Are you kidding me? We see it 1/3 times we need to scan. Anyway, tonight he's trying to use his billing program, which he has no clue to use, but he's trying to use it anyway & he can't find where the email customer part is. The top has several tabs, do you think that he could click on the tabs until he found what he was looking for? Of course not, instead he has to start using profanity and getting all pissed off. Geez. Listen, I don't go into your garage & try to use your tools and try to work on bikes, those are things I ask you to do. So suck up your manliness and ask for me to do it for you, or show you how to do it & actually pay attention so you can do it yourself next time. Ugh!

What are something that your DH does like this that make you crazy?

Ahhh, yeah, I get that. My DH works in computer-science & such so he's very much into technology and when it comes to electronics, I go to him! But other things that drive me crazy? Not much, but I can think of one thing and that is if I ask him to do something around the house that is 'his responsibility' (i.e. move something heavy or fix something), he'll do it, but after I ask like 10 times over the next 2 weeks. I don't mean little things (those he'll do right away), but stuff that will take him 10 minutes plus to complete! Then I start feeling like a nagger, but how else?!?!

DITTO!! DH absolutely hates making phone calls.... I think it's because he hates feeling like he's bothering someone. I wouldn't mind doing these for him except, come on. It's a phone call. Also, I usually only ask him to make the calls to Icelandic businesses and institutions that I can't talk to easily... Once it took him a week just to make a 30 second phone call....... Don't get me wrong, I love DH and he is so great with everything else... He just hates talking on the phone!!!

Hmmm my DH is very much a techy guy, and opposite of what Alissa mentioned my DH is on the phone all day for work (and is a very smooth talker) so i make him do all the phone calls.... this is starting to look like i'm the pain in the butt, clueless one who runs to him for everything

My hubby is the same on the weekends, he never wants to get up, once i would like to sleep in! But that doesnt reallt bother me, what gets me is that if he doesnt want to di something, like cook a dinner, or something really simple (that i know he can do) he will say " well you have to because i dont know how to". How hard is it to google it? Thats how i figure it out lol, but he really is great at helping out, so i cant complain!

Ugh that would drive me nuts! Hubby is really good about most things except if any bug, creepy crawly, moth, ant, or the occasional mouse is in the house- he REFUSES to get rid of it. It's summer. Bugs get it. But nope, It is my responsibility. When I was 8 months pregnant a field mouse came into the house and died under the couch. The smell was disgusting. What does he do? Hang out in the kitchen ( which he never does) and wait for me to deal with it. I made him make it up to me in 489094 ways after I took care of it lol.

Other than that, he is pretty good at handling things.

I loved reading all of the responses.

When we owed our own Motorcycle Shop, we got a long much better. Working from home (both of us) it really hard. I wish he would either help me out some while I did the computer work, or take it to his "shop" so I don't have to hear him cursing at the computer. Lol

I'll ask DH to do something and after I ask him for the 50th time I'll end up doing it myself and then he gets mad because I did it wrong. And when I ask him about doing something if it's more than a day away he will always say "It's a long time till then ya never know the world could end till then". Drives me nuts!
