Up until 2 months ago, Sebastian ate everything in sight. No matter what I placed on his high chair tray, he would just eat it. He could eat 4 regular size yogurts in a sitting. Pretty much everything. But now, it all changed. He still eats, just really small quantities of everything. DH says he's just not growing as fast anymore, but I don't know. He still LOVES fruit, if it's fruit, he's still eating huge amounts. But everything else is tiny little quantities.
Anyone else going through something similar?
Julia - Mommy to 3 sweet kids Natasha, Veronika, and Sebastian
no Nathan is still eating pretty well a lot, but I think he's grown(ing?) again. His 24 month sleepers were long in the legs (darn long torso/short legs!) but now they fit/are a bit tight.
he IS getting a tad bit more particular. He prefers to have a variety on his plate and if we have any sauce he better get some too! (ie he saw DH with ketchup for his chicken yesterday and he reached his little arm out and screamed until he got some too). He also prefers more flavour to bland things.
He did stop eating very much right before he came down with a cold 2 weeks ago though. Barely touched anything.
Yup. Gary has started getting that way! He loves his bananas though which is great, but everything else is like hit or miss. And his new thing is "hot" if he doesnt like it and he spits it out. Now when he's telling me a cucumber is HOT i know he is full of crap.
Sebastian could be having a lull in his growth - that's the first thing that came to mind.
Same with us - Cody does better with only one thing on his plate at a time.
He's actually eating more now than before. I think it has to do with me letting him bite pieces off rather than cutting them up (I posted a new thread about this.) He's also been eager to try new foods, as opposed to a few months ago.
