Hello ladies, long time no see!

Had a concern I wanted to run by you. Today I've been noticing alot of pressure or fullness down below and some sharp cervical pains here and there. So I went in to internally check it out and felt something very soft (maybe my cervix hanging about down to about a fingertip into my vagina. It felt rounded and soft. COuld it just be my cervix hanging very low> It wasn't about a week ago last time I checked, or a hernia of some kind. Or possibly something else? Anyone ever noticed anything like that before?

I actually have not tried to feel my cervix since I got pregnant, so I don't know about that. But do you think it could be a varicose vein? I know they can happen in there and be very uncomfortable. But I personally do not have experience with this (as of right now). I'm so sorry you're uncomfortable! I hope some other ladies can help you figure it out!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking it might be because I also have hemmrhoids right now, so I know there's alot of pressure causing problems.

I have a polyp on my cervix that developed after I got pregnant, so that's another thing it could be. However, I definitely wouldn't do any checking yourself so you don't accidentally stir things up or cause an infection.

As far as the pressure and such, rest, feet up and lots of water are my suggestions followed by a trip to L&D if it doesn't ease up. Hopefully it does though! Keep us posted!

Thanks. Yeah, I will try to follow those orders. I actually did also call my doctor's office and spoke with a nurse who wants me to come in tomorrow to get checked out. Hopefully it's nothing.

I would suggest not checking yourself at all. And also, the cervix at this point should be higher than a fingertip into the vagina. It does move and might not always be posterior now but if you mean fingertip as in an inch or something... that is not normal at all.
