Have any of you ladies gotten your first postpartum periods yet? If so, when did you get it? Were you breastfeeding?

I'm a little over four months postpartum and I breastfeed with one supplemental bottle of formula a day, and my period hasn't returned yet. I'm just wondering how much longer I have before I need to get some more pads (or tests) etc.

sadly yes....at 4months pp. I was hoping it would be longer (was a year with my first baby). I am 100% breastfeeding (no pumping even).

it can be until you stop breastfeeding or it can be any time between there. breastfeeding helps keep it away but it doesnt always. Ive heard supplementing, pumping and pacifiers can bring it back earlier. Im not sure thought. Neither of mine have had formula and dont pump. My son never took a paci but my daughter does so that is the only difference i see in why i got it back earlier this time.

I did but only because I started birth control in March. When I started my second month of the birth control my supply dropped so I stopped taking it and have not gotten a period since. With my second I got it back after 6 weeks despite breastfeeding and with my third I got it back at 7 months PP but then it was like a 60-70 day cycle until 2 months after weaning him at 13 months.

I'm almost 6 months pp and I still haven't gotten my cycles back yet. I exclusively pump so I'm pleasantly surprised that it has stayed away as long or longer than when I was exclusively bfing my older boys.

Im 6 months PP and still no period, I exclusively breast feed too.
