i'm jaQf rom detroit. damon was born jan. 21 ans while he smiles, he has not grasped laughing yet. i have two older boys and an older girl. my middle boy has a developmental delay that we're not yet diagnosed. *personally* i believe it's too early to worry. i hope everything goes well for you! motherhood is amazing, but it's terrifying to think there may be an issue with your sweet little baby.

My son was born Jan 18th. I posted in the introduce yourself message board but will do it here too. We are living in the Caribbean while my husband goes to medical school here and I am finding it hard to not have any family or friend support. I feel very alone sometimes. It doesn't help that I am a crazy worrier. ANYWAYS- I was hoping you guys could help me with my latest worry... Little boy is not laughing spontaneously yet. He laughs when I tickle him but not without the physical stimulation. Also, he seems really quiet. It seems like I remember him babbling and cooing more but lately he is SO quiet and I just want to hear all his wonderful noises. AM I alone in this?? Anyone else experiencing something similar?? Do you think he is developing normally? Thanks guys
