I'm partial to the blender because then you can just use what you have instead of getting a new other appliance. They're also pretty expensive, right?

I really hated the blender when I made Dds food. I have a really nice one too. I also wanted the baby bullet until I read the reviews. There are other baby food systems out there that steam the food and puree it, no need to transfer from stove.
For me, I am going to wait on anything because DD hated pureed food and went straight to table food at 11 months. If that were to happen again, it would be a waste of money. I will try in the blender, even though I don't like it, too see if this baby will take food. If s/he will, I will invest in a food processor. You can make bigger batches to freeze and use it for other reasons than just baby food.
I'm going to be getting a different type of baby food maker since it will steam, blend, and thaw all in one. The baby bullet is cute but they're are better ones on the market in my opinion, although they can get pricey.
I use my magic bullet to make smoothies, marinades and salad dressings. pros —*it's much smaller than a blender, easy to get out and there's no setup, the cups you blend in become cups you can drink out of/easily store. no need to clean it. cons — it doesn't really chop up the food that well unless there is liquid in it.
I'd buy the magic bullet version, so you can use for yourself or baby. the baby one just looks like a mini magic bullet.
