I'm only 2 days behind you and my bump can't even compare! I steadily lost weight in the first trimester, and at my last regular OB visit, I was barely back up to my pre-pregnancy weight. I'm certain at my next one in a week I'll have gained more, though!
Ahh yeah I gained 5 in my first and now another 5. Its going up at a good pace so Im happy but I read that he is only 7oz at 18 weeks...there is just no way! Im certain they are going to change my due date with his measurements at my 20 week ultrasound in 2 weeks. He is only gonna be bigger by then.
This is one thing I'm excited to find out on Friday at my ultrasound. I have only gained 1lb. because of the gestational diabetes diet I am on and I'm wondering if it is affecting the baby's weight gain. What is average for the baby at about 20 weeks along?
I've gained 8 lbs. At my 20 week u/s the tech said he was measuring at 13 oz. I'm betting he's a pound or over now. ee gads. Big babies run in my family. I'm expecting he'll be at least 8.5 at birth. I was 9.1. :S
