Ok since so many mommies have already had babies now... I am going to repack my hospital bag now that I'm washing everything. What did you actually use in the hospital for you and baby? For example: how many receiving blankets did you actually use? I like wrapping the baby in pretty blankets instead of the boring hospital ones. Outfits? I know that the baby is supposed to wear the hospital clothes but they are boring. Did you actually put your LO in regular clothes while in the hospital? One more question: Did you wash your Boppy before using it?

Ok off to doing all my last minute things... such a procrastinator.

I'm going to answer these since my first time around i majorly over packed so i'm attempting to do better and ONLY take what i'll use.

What did you actually use in the hospital for you and baby? my clothes (2 pairs of pants/a couple of shirts), socks, toiletries (shower stuff only), blankets. I only wore my own clothes the 2nd day. The first day i pretty much camped out in the gown but i'm hoping to shower sooner this time. we had way too many visitors last time right away and I was physically out of commission for a while too.
I will be bringing make up and my straightener this time just because i want to feel semi-human.

I think we took 3 blankets, a small flannel receiving blanket and 2 big swaddling blankets. He was tiny so it helped to double wrap him to keep his temp up. Emily is going to be bigger so i'm only bringing 2. One cute girly one and one big swaddling one.

Outfits? I have packed one cotton sleeper, one fleece sleeper and one onesie/pants outfit. I think i have 2 hats packed and maybe one pair of booties/socks. Tyler stayed swaddled in a diaper/hospital shirt most of the time.

One more question: Did you wash your Boppy before using it?
Nope just the cover.

I'm a procrastinator too...i'm STILL not fully packed.
