I want to make those birds nest necklaces for my mom and MIL. Should I put the birthstones in them for their kids or grandkids? I want them to be for Mother's Day. Maybe all? That makes for a large pendant, though.

Probably not real gems. I'll use birthstone colored beads or crystals. I like the sparkle of the crystal, but I also like the "eggs" to be opaque.

Well to answer the original question, I say grand kids. I no longer exist to my parents, it is all about the grandbabies!
