Poor Evan has a cold (probably thanks to his brother). He's so stuffed up and I've had to aspirate him many times in the past twelve hours to get the boogers out. He's also coughing, which is making it difficult for him (and me) to fall asleep. Fortunately, he's been very good-natured about it and hasn't cried.

I'm not bothering to call the doctor at this point because he's not wheezing and doesn't have a fever, and I don't think there's much they can do. So for now, I'll just nurse him as much as possible and keep his head elevated when I put him down.

Anyone else had a sick baby yet? What helped him/her get better?

Winter hasn't been sick, but she came home with allergies. She constantly sounds congested. It has been worse since the pollen started. Makes it a hassle to nurse. I know one way to get rid of it: move out of Louisiana!

Mine hasn't gotten sick yet, but I'm a teacher and absolutely dread the day when I come home and give him a bug. I hope your little one feels better soon. And I'm taking notes on good home remedies, especially for nasal congestion!
