I completely forgot to make a post here! We're expecting again, a shocker. We were going to TTC around my birthday to try and get another holiday baby, on Halloween this time. We are NTNP, or we were, and just happen to hit upon a successful ovulation in this really long funky cycle. Started in December with a miscarriage, another surprise leftover from Thanksgiving.
I started feeling a little...not queasy...pressure in my chest today. I'm assuming from acid reflux. I've been having a ton of heartburn, even before I realized I conceived. Figured I just needed to lay off the popcorn. lol I spotted for 6 days starting at 9 DPO. Figured it had to be my period. I only tested because a friend kept saying I was pregnant. Needed to prove her wrong.
I'm hoping it turns out well. I think this is the third pregnancy since Winter Rose was born. We'll see.
I took care of a little boy like that once. His didn't resolve on its own, but they were able to easily correct it.
We'll find out. If it's a girl, we will be a little disappointed. It'd be nice to have the time to get used to her. We both really want a boy this go. I feel very different so I have high hopes. Alice and Winter were both varying degrees of sick.
Aw, Arwen, I just saw this! I'm delighted for you! I'm sorry about the losses; that is so hard. Hugs to you and your family and I'm praying for a sticky little blue bean for you!
We're going to start trying this summer; I'll keep you posted.
Congrats on your boy! That must have been a shock when he was born! Did he have to go home in a girl outfit? My aunt was told girl and ended up having a boy...he went home in a pink dress
This particular forum is near death, I think, Kati. Sucks. I'm glad I'm part of a pretty active DDC, but I miss a club for already-mamas. Sometimes I want to smack the screen when I see a newb question asked for the 5th time. lol
I guess people are still on FB as well? I really didn't like the setup and how people acted on there. Seemed like every other post was TMI, and I only saw a quarter of them. So many updates so quickly it was hard to keep up!
