Hard to believe it's been a year! My pregnancy with Winter lasted forever, but as soon as she was out, time flew. So here is her first year in pictures. We haven't gone to her 1 yr appointment yet so no stats there, but I'll update later.

On February 14, 2012 we had our second baby girl. She was 7 lbs 13 oz and 20" long.



At 4 weeks old, she decided to complicate her life by having silent apnea / acid reflux. We did a lot of sleeping while sitting up.



At 2 months she weighed 13 ¼ lbs and was 23 ½".



She finally started to get cute, chubby, and interactive at 3 months. First roll!



She weighed about 14 ½ lbs at 4 months, and grew to be 24 ¾" long.



At 5 months, she started sitting unassisted.



By 6 months, she sat well unassisted, and she could put herself there.



She started crawling at 7 months.



I had her Halloween pics taken slightly early. She and her sister were both crying during the session.



At 9 months, she was taller than her sister was at a year.



She had her first Thanksgiving around 9½ months(but she's 10 here), and she loved eating everything we had.



This was taken a bit after her first Christmas. She got way too many toys!



And here she is just one day after her 1st birthday. She started to officially walk a few days before it. She finished off her first year with 4 teeth. Such a big girl now!





I hope some of you decided to make some threads like these. I'd love to see your children grow throughout their first year.

I loved seeing this, Arwen, and totally got inspired to start my own pic thread of Robby's first year. I looked up the important dates and found pics to go with them and was so excited. And when I had gotten to 9 months, my computer locked up and Explorer shut down and the whole darn thing was lost. I'm going to try again when I have a free hour. :-/

Winter is beautiful! I love seeing how much she has grown!
