The two times I've pushed without any pain meds....I had a hard time actually STARTING to push for a couple contractions...I was too busy fighting the pain and such .... but it does seem a little better when you get a good push going and start to focus.

Wow, that's a great birth story!

I was just thinking about your post about not having pain from BFing... maybe it's your body's way of making up for not letting you get the epidural during labor! LOL

I can't believe I never read this before! What a story! I had no idea you had Ava with NO pain meds... Thankfully it was a pretty quick labor! Especially for a first baby and being induced.

WOW! AMazing! You are my hero doing it without drugs! Just the thought of that scares me! I had no idea Ava was over 8 pounds. She was a good size baby!
