I didn't have the video monitor, but I always thought it was a super cool and useful thing to have.

Yeah, I have a regular monitor around here somewhere that I got when I was pregnant with Madeleine. But I never used it with her, because she didn't sleep anywhere except with me. lol I'm being optimistic with the next child and hoping that they will be more cooperative.

I had good luck with my regular monitor, but I definitely would have liked to have the video monitor.

OK so I fell asleep during the inauguration (after he got sworn in) and Jay thought it was a good idea to let Allie and spencer get the Chutes and Ladders game out in his room. Not such a big deal, except for the fact that if you get one game out spencer thinks he has to get ALL his games out 6 different board games and all their pieces all over the room. Then spencer got in his closet and pulled down all his DVDs and opened several and threw them on the floor And Allie decided it would be a good idea to empty out all of spencer's drawers that I just organized yesterday and she put ALL of his clothing all over ther room. Jay woke me up to say he was going to work. I was disoriented at first then he told me the kids were playing happily in spencer's room. I got up to check on them and that's what I found. Seriously! I bet he didn't check in on them one time while I was asleep. Grrrr! So not what I wanted to deal with today!

Of course he didn't care. He doesn't have to clean it up! Grr! Sorry, Amy. Ryan's done the same thing before.

Well I didn't get everything put back up but I at least got it all out of his reach again! I think I feel like cleaning the family room right now...so spencer's room can wait until another day.

I think I'm going to take tomorrow off. I'm working Saturday again so I have to take another day off during the week, but it can't be Friday. Tomorrow sounds good to me.

No matter what day I take I still have to get up early to get Haley to school and by the time I get back Tyler will be up so it's not like I get a break or anything! heh

Man these kids have WAY too much! I'm organizing the family room and so far have 10 different boxes with toys in them. I want to pack up about 80% of their stuff. That way it can't get like this again. I'll switch out the boxes every month or two. Once we get a new house I might can organize it better where they have more access to things but for now I think this is my only choice...sigh

i feel great right now. I pretty much cleaned the entire house today. Swept, mopped, vaccumed, laundry, toilet, bathtub, sheets. I LOVE when the house is spotless.

LOL Lisa, I have been counting too.

Oh Goodness Amy! That was a rude awakening, huh?

I played with the boys in Caden's room for 2 1/2 hours this morning. Then we all got a bath, got dressed, and went to the bank. We got some McDonalds, then went to get their Hair cut. They were both awesome, quiet, and still during their cuts. I was so proud of them. They got a balloon and a sucker. Then we went to Target, and they both got a spiderman bike, and some new rain boots. We walked around looking at toys, and then went to play at Chick-Fil-A, and got some ice cream. We had such a great day. We all needed it, I was starting to feel like a hermit.

^stop that now!

Crystal, I still really, really want a video monitor LOL. I don't *need* it now, but I still want it. I need monitors in both their rooms since the bedrooms are upstairs and all the living space is on the lower level.

I do have the Graco iMonitor and love it though. Super clear and no *fuzz* http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=/q...;rh=&page=1
