Baby is going to have a corner of the guest room since we're living with my parents for a while. My mom also just re-did the guest room about a year ago, so I'm going to try and coordinate everything to match. The room is already done in a dark red toile so I'm looking for red sets to match. Here is the one I've found so far that I like:

I've always favored the more neutral colored bedding sets, ones that aren't very babyisn. Wade doesn't agree, but as I said, we have to try and coordinate with the room!

Here are the patterns close up:

And finally, here is the crib that I like. The rest of the furniture in the room is mahogany and this is the closet I could find. Its cherry and I'll really need the extra storage drawer underneath.

I wonder why, if it's so popular, they put it out of print???

Wow, really?? We've been having the hardest time finding stores that sell it! At least in Anchorage. Haven't really looked in NJ. One of the online stores I bought the bedset from was selling out and not restocking.

Here is the painted room. I love the peapod green color. It looks better in person than in the pic though. But once the border goes up, it'll look great!!!

I just ordered these with the money I got from my baby shower. We also found wall border at the dollar store, so I got 3 rolls instead of spending $19.00 each on a roll. It doesn't match EXACTLY, but it is 4 primary colors which will have to do.

I will take pictures of the wall border for input.

I tried this yesterday & hit preview isntead of post... lets try this again.

Since finding out we are having a girl, I changed my mind from the yellow bumble bees to ultra girly pink stuff. Most of our house is decorated in an Asian style so we picked bedding that best resembled our ongoing theme.

It has little cherry blossoms & butterflies on it & its called Koko.

Jess,

I love the theme... way to go on finding something that sorta blends with your home!!! We just started on our nursery... and by starting I mean getting all of DH's clothes out of it... I don't know if we are going to be able to handle sharing a closet. We've been together for 10 years and have always had seperate closets... this should be interesting... I think I am about 2 days away from having everything but the furniture out... and then we start to move the big stufff... although some of Keegan's toys have found their way into the closet... thank goodness!

Sarah,
You are a lot farther along than us. We still have to move to our new house within the next month & a half. All I want to do is nest & get her nursery ready & I can't.

My mom keeps saying, "By the seventh month with all my pregnancies, I had their nurseries ready & my bad already packed." So, I am making sure she helps me get eveything I need so when we do move, Evie's room will be the first one finished! lol

Ok so we are going out on a limb here with our nursery theme, my hubby and I fell in love with this and thought it would be great for a boy not only now but for a few years to come...

Here is the Wall Border, it has other cute pictures on it too such as the dragling in bunny slippers and flossing his teeth

Here is the Night Light

and finally the Switch plate cover...

We also got the Appliques and book ends, the ceiling will be yellow with glitter and below the chair-rail border will be almost a neon Green... in between the border and the ceiling it will be white...I guess we will be going with plain bumbers and sheets in yellow, green, white or Navy blue since that is on the border...

Here is the room with a few more things in it. Sorry for the dust spots from the camera.

I really wish we had molding for the ceiling. DH and my BIL painted and there are spots that would look better covered with a molding. Oh well...

We just completed our baby girl's room. We're pretty pleased with how it turned out. Let me know what you think!

Whew... progress has finally been made... everything that is non-baby related is out of the nursery and the paint for the walls has been purchased... now we just need to move the furniture and put down the drop clothes and get to work... the only thing still "out" in the room is the 50+ teddy bears we have collected for the doll hammocks so far... the rocker is in the process of being reupholstered and I bought the stain for the futon that's going in the room for a while. Oh, and I have all the material to make the curtains. Now... I just need to get some stuff done.
