Lets see.. I remember going to the doctor about 2 weeks before Gloria's due date and they measured my belly and it ws 42" from top to bottom. The doctor thought she was too big so they scheduled a ultrasound for the following Wednesday so that they can see what is going on. After the ultrasound they thought she was going to be 9lbs and 2 oz. So the next day and after I talked to the doctor about it. He said I had 2 choices: 1 have a c-section or see if I progress any for anothe week and if not, then induce and if nothing happens have an emergency c-section. I didn't want to have that happen. Later I called the doctor to tell him I would like to go in. So we scheduled it for the 2pm slot. I had to be there at noon to get ready.
The next day, we get to the hospital and I get in my gown and the nurses get me ready. I requested a epi because I have Hydrocpehalus so I didn't want to go under or have the spinal. About 2pm I was rolled to the OR's doors and got my head bonnett on and they rolled me in and they plugged me in to the equipment and started the operate after I was numb from the chest down. I felt all the togging and pushing of the nurse. Then Gloria was born and my hubby got it on tape.
The time of birth is 3:17pm on Oct 28, 2005. Family and friends where there to greet her and see me after I got out of recovery at 5pm. I was so tired and sour that I slept for a while.
