I am sleeping in the guest room as my DH snores horrible. I am awoken to something I can only describe as a.....Pop. Like a pop against my cervix. It does not hurt but feels really weird and I lay there and think.....what the heck?
I have a pressure like I need to go to the bathroom, but I dont once I get there so I go back to bed. The boys are jumping all over the place. I lay and wonder if it is possible for my water to break from all of their rowdiness.
About 30 seconds later my water breaks.
You've never seen somebody so big move so fast. I ran down the hall to my bedroom, turned on the lights and start yelling..."my water broke! wake up the kids! my water broke! wake up the kids!"
5:15 am Cooper Aiden joined us weighing 3 lbs 8 oz and 16 inches
5:18 am Ryder Davis joined us weighing 4 lbs 11 oz and 18 inches
Cooper breathed on his own from the very beginning. Ryder needed some help. They are both in the NICU and doing well-expected to come home in a month or so. I just made it home today. It was hard coming home baby-less but I know they are where they need to be.
I will send pics as soon as I can. It may be awhile until I catch up on the posts as I am so tired, so congrats to anybody I may miss.
Please-if you can....say a prayer for my babies as they are so little and have a lot of hurdles to overcome.
I can't believe they are here! You know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers as your little ones go through the next month! They will be home before you know it. I know it's tough to go home babyless, but I'm sure you will spend as much time as you can with them! Take care of you!

Congratulations Cindy and boys! Very cute pictures. I can't believe they are already here. My DH was cute. He was reading over my shoulder and said "Let's pray for them right now". Keep us posted on their progress.
Congratulations on the arrival of your boys. For me it was THE worst leaving my baby behind that first time, but you know they are where they're best taken care of. I hope they grow fast and learn to eat soon, so you can all be at home together. Keep us posted on their progress.
Yay! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! I'm glad the boys are doing well and I hope and pray that they'll be able to come home soon! Keep us all posted!!

Stopping in from the Sept. DDC, my son Ethan was born 5 weeks early and spent 3 weeks 2 days in the hospital and he weighed the exact same as your Cooper. He has feeding issues but is doing well and is home with us. If the nipples are too big for your sons, when they get to nipple, I found the bottles from Gerber with the newborn nipples were the perfect size for him. HTH.Ethan got to come home when he weighed as much as your Ryder. I wish you and your sons a speedy recovery and hope they get home soon. If you ever need to chat, feel free to PM me!
