I am finally getting enough time to share this with y'all. Miss Chloe decided to come about 3 weeks early and boy were we not ready! lol Anyways It began Friday evening around 9pm, I started having contractions but nothing in a pattern, just strong cramping very sparaticly. This lasted all night til about 5am. I had some really strong contractions then light ones so still no pattern. So It's Saturday morning now and the contractions have stopped so I think I'm in the clear. I wake up as usual, hubby goes to work and I get my DD up. It's about 9:30am and I am changing my daughter's pull-up, I get this strong urge to pee and I quickly stand up and.....bam. trickle... trickle....... trickle....with every movement I feel stuff running down my leg. I realize it was my water and it had broke so I call my mother to come pick up Katy and call my husband and we are off to the hospital. We go in and get settled, I get hooked up to the antibiotics sense i tested positive for the group B strep, and I also get a low dose of pitocin sense I was still not contractiong anymore. Contractions start to get stronger and I am dialted to 4 they give me an epidural to relieve the pain. After the epi...it is all smooth sailing. I am dialted to 5, one hour goes by....til 5, another hour, still 5.....3 more hours go by and I am still at a 5 and baby is OP (face up). Finally at 10pm the doctor tells me it is best we take the baby c-section, I am devestated. (I did not want a section, I was terrified! ) So we get everything set up and our baby girl is here at 10:37pm. and that's the story of Miss Chloe! Sorry it took forever to write this!

Even though your L&D didn't end up the way you wanted (c-section) I am still envious of your water breaking! All last week I kept hoping it would happen to me! I've had 3 kids now and have yet to experience that.

Congrats on your baby girl

Come to think of it, I have also never experienced water breaking on its own. A friend told me that it pops like a balloon!

Its understandable why it took you this long to write your brith story. First days home after c-section are really tough and we wouldnt have expected otherwise.

Congratulations and ENJOY your baby!
