Who's husband is getting one after this baby?
Mine is, but he's super whiny about it. He's convinced he'll be the only guy on the planet who's ever had one.  For some reason he doesn't believe that maybe PLENTY of guys have had one, they just don't bring it up in conversation that often. 
Also, does anyone know how long it is before the first uhh..."check", lol? He can't have his consult until I've given birth so we're kinda flying blind on how it all works.

I think they check after 6 weeks, and then again at like 8 weeks. Just to make sure there are no more swimmers.
John is getting one, we're just having issues with finding out how much exactly of it our insurance covers.

My hubby is getting one too. We are waiting for a couple of months after the baby, since I don't want to have to take care of a new baby and a whiny husband.

Mine says he is getting one. I don't care either way, because I want another kid. We have not even started to look into it until baby is here.

^^ Ditto. My DH will get one, but I am too nervous to do it right away. I am pretty sure I'm done, but I want to make sure. I'll get an IUD in the meantime.

I want mine to have one. He'll be almost 48 once this baby comes so we don't have time on our side to have another one.

I asked DH to get one, at the beginning of this pregnancy I wasn't convince I was done. Well I'm convinced now lol. So I stopped talking to him about it and just decided to get my tubes tied. I told DH that I am done whether he is or not, is not my problem

We're pretty positive that we're done...but it will be a few years until he gets it done. We're only 26 and we both want to make sure that we're absolutely done before doing it. I'm not really sure what we're going to do as far as bc goes right now...

WHEN we are done having kids, he'll get one. We are going to have our 6th child first.
It took my friend a year to stop shooting sperm, but his was a rare case.
