As with every Thursday, I went for a non-stress test this morning. Seth was his usual very active self. Serena, not so much. Since she was being "non-reactive", I had to go for a BPP at the hospital. So I came home, grabbed some food and headed out. My u/s was scheduled for 11:00 but they didn't even come get me until 11:30. The ultrasound took about an hour, all to say that everything is perfectly fine. I did mention to them that I just had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago but they said I still needed to go. As much as I enjoy seeing my babies, it's very hard for me to lay on my back for an hour. I feel like I'm still recovering for that. I think I'm going to take dh's advice and have a coke before my next non-stress test.

Sorry she was a booger, and I'm glad she really is ok. I hear ya on not being able to lay on your back. I always feel like I'm going to pass out when they have me on my back for u/s and other tests.

Ugh Tammy! I feel so bad for the baby when they do that shocker thing.

Kimberly, I'm sorry Serena was being so nonresponsive, but I'm glad she's doing well. I definitely agree with the coke before your next one, although it may raise their heartrates a little.

I don't even know what the shocker thing is. I just kid around that she is already following what her name means. Seriously, all that for a sleepy baby.

It's good they're monitoring you though. Nonreactive NSTs were my kid's first sign of distress. Happy she did fine though. <3

I know it's not comfortable for you, but I'm glad everything ended up being perfect. You'd hate to sit and wonder otherwise.

Coke makes my little girl go crazy! Though I did drink one right before I had an appointment and her heart rate did go a little crazy too.

Glad she's doing fine, stubborn little girl I hate laying on my back, I can't even imagine how much worse it is for you!
