I'm running out of nb sized diapers, so we're starting to use more cloth. However I do like having sposies for night and trips out of the house. Not sure if I should just buy more nb or switch to size one. Last visit she was 7lbs 9oz and abour 18.5 long. WDYT? For those that are already in size 1, when did you switch.

We started in size 1; 8lb 12oz at birth. Not sure what she weighs now but we're doing another box of size 1 and then evaluating for size 2. Switching out when a) poop escapes the back and/or b) they just seem too small.

Mine tend to be big, too, so I just run out of nb size I get from the hospital and start on size 1.

We used nb in the hospital and size 1 when we got home. He is 8.13 and the 1's seem a bit big.

Haevyn was 10lb even at her appt the other day, she's 5 weeks now and was 6lb6oz at birth. She started size 1 diapers right at 1 month although NB was actually still fitting fine and size 1 are pretty big on her. She's pretty long and has her dads tiny hips but a cute round belly! As long as we keep the size 1's strapped good we don't have any problems. I know it just depends on the baby .. both of my older kids started in size 1 and both weighed 8lb+ at birth. They just had real thick midsections and thighs unlike their baby sister.

We had to move up.to 1s because he has a gut and the newborns were tight around the middle.

Merrik never used NB diapers, he wore 1 from the hospital on. We're switching to 2 by end of the week or beginning of the next.
He was 9 pounds 7 oz at birth, almost 11 pounds by 3 weeks and now somewhere around 12. He's a chunky little boy

We've been in 1's for a while now. Mason was 10lbs at 4 weeks. Who knows what he weighs now at 5 weeks but we hope to be able to finish the big box of 1's that we bought not too long ago.

Jakob was born at 8 lb 13 oz and was in nb until we ran out which was about the time he had dropped to 8 lb 3 oz and was then back up to 8 lb 10 oz, then he fit in size 1 fine, so i'm guessing around 8 pounds ish is where they can switch/fit in either

We went to 1s at about 2 weeks or so... The 1s seemed a bit big, but the nb were definitely too small at that point.

Donavan started in 1s and is still in them now. We're at the end of a box, but I'm afraid to buy another big box because he's already oer 11 lbs. I'll probably just buy a big pack of 1s and then see if it's time for 2s when those are done.
Noelle wore newborns for about a month, but it also took her that long to get to 8+ lbs.

Gavin went to 1s about 1m. Mostly when he started peeing out of that size, we move to next size. I think he was around 10lbs.
He is now 13lbs and in size 2s for about 2w now.
