I put her over my shoulder first. I will put her belly basically on my collar bone and she kind of dangles over the top of my shoulder. If that doesn't work then she goes to my lap and I put her belly on my left and pat her with my right hand. My friend also showed me this trick where you run your two fingers up their spine. It can help get gas out. Sometimes I'll put my hand under her chin and sit her up a bit. That seems to clear her airway and help her burp.
We try lots of positions! Haha!

On my shoulder works the best so far but he's hard to burp.

I sit him in my lap and hold his little chin and head with my right hand and pat his back with my left hand. He's usually very easy to burp, but if he can't get it out, I switch him to my shoulder, and that usually works

This kid just recently started to burp. I put him high up on my shoulder, so my shoulder is kinda pushing into his tummy.

This for us, too.
But she is SO hard to burp! She just doesn't do it!! It gets frustrating because if she doesn't burp she gets fussy and gassy and gets a belly ache and then eventually projectile vomits all over me

I don't burp him that often, he just pops off a boob and lets 'em rip If I do, it's over my shoulder.
