I got Emmalyn's tongue clipped at the ENT today! It was such a simple procedure I wish I would have done it weeks ago! I just layed her down in my lap and the doc clipped it! She keeped pressure on it w/ some gauze for about 30 sec, and that was it. She nursed right away, and it doesn't seem to be bothering her any. The ENT doc said that this doesn't gaurantee that her latch will improve and stop her from gulping air, but it's def something worth trying. I really hope it helps. Yesterday at her appt she was down to 8lbs 1oz. I go in next week for a weight check, praying for an oz a day weight gain!!

Glad it went well! Hopefully tings start to improve and she begins gaining weight!
