I'm glad to hear the news though.
Could you pls PM me if you hear anything else? We're all praying for her.
I sent her a text today in case anyone opens her cell but I didn't know else to do
I'll update our group if you don't mind.
Thanks.

Here's the latest email Sarai got:
"She has asked that we not post anything on FB except to pray for her... I am going to post the entire email that she sent me so that you have the whole story... I will continue to update you when I hear something more.
April 3rd, Jennifer delivered a healthy baby boy and was doing well. The next day she had a tubal and was sent home with Caleb. All was well. I went to see her April 5th and she was in a lot of pain. More than I figured she'd be in with having a tubal. That very night she woke up with a fever and chills. On Good Friday, April 6, she called the OB and they got her "fit in" for an appointment. They diagnosed her with Cellulitis - a rare skin infection and said her tubal incision was infected. So a shot of antibiotic and two oral ones later she's on the way home. About a week later she's still having fever and chills. She went to the hospital for an IV of antibiotic and was again sent home with two more oral antibiotics saying the infection was gone.
She kept telling me something was wrong. She was still spiking a fever and felt horrible. The OB was telling her a low fever was fine so she didn't push the issue. I wanted her to go back sooner, but the Dr thought she may have been trying to get a cold or something.
She went back to the OB for a recheck on the cellulitis and infection on April 26th. All was well from what the OB could see, but sent her for a CT scan the following morning. After seeing the scan, they ordered a chest x-ray. They told her to take them both to her family Dr, who then sent her to the hospital to be admitted.
They said she had double pneumonia. Her lungs were full of fluid and they put her on oxygen. The next day, she was moved to CCU and put on an oxygen mask. She still wasn't at good oxygen levels and making ANY progress by Tuesday.
Tuesday, May 1st the decision was made to sedate her, intubate her, and put her on a ventilator. Intubating her allowed them to pump oxygen straight into her lungs so she wouldn't have to consume so much energy breathing. She was EXHAUSTED! The ventilator was to guarantee she took so many breaths a minute. She was breathing on her own while on it and seemed to be improving on the machine.
Wednesday they were doing a Bronchoscopy - suctioning fluid out of her lungs. Keeping her sedated and intubated for at least 48 hours while they try to get the fluid to culture. Meanwhile, she's on about 4 antibiotics to cover all bases until they know what's causing this and can treat it.
That night I called a lady to let her know we wouldn't make it to her daughter's birthday party this weekend...little did I know she's a Respiratory Therapist. She said to get her moved to GMH asap! I talked to Josh and he thought it was time to move her. Thursday morning they had her tranfer in and on the way there.
They put her in ICU and ran some tests of their own as well as waiting on results from what Easley was doing.
Yesterday we found out she has a blood clot in her right arm that they are taking care of. They had an OB Dr come in to check her and make sure this isn't related to anything in that department. They also did another bronchoscopy, took her off the vent and put her on an oscillator, as well as paralyzed her body.
They don't want her body to do ANYTHING on it's own. She is completely out of it. No breathing on her own or anything. With the oscillator (which GMH is the ONLY hospital in the upstate that uses them on adults, they are used for NICU babies) she is breathing 480 breaths a minute...yes, FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY!!! That allows the oxygen to get into her body better than the vent. They are checking her oxygenation levels a few times a day and said this is working good so far. She will be paralyzed and on the oscillator for two to four more days. On a good note, the pneumonia is GONE! PTL!!!
At this point she has developed ARDS - acute respiratory distress syndrome and feel this is the best way to keep it under control until something shows up in her tests. She will be in the hospital weeks more and undergo physical therapy to walk again after being in the bed so long.
She is very sick!!! Her boys miss her terribly. Conner (7) knows a little, just that she's very sick and he isn't allowed into the room she's in. Colin (2) knows nothing and asks for his mommy regularly. Caleb (4wks) doesn't understand at all, but he knows we aren't his mommy. She said she was worried he wouldn't remember her when she saw him again. I pray he will!
Please don't make postings on facebook about her. People tend to post what they hear and not what they know, making it hard for me to correct what was written. If you need to post about her just simply say, "Please pray for Jennifer Stone. She is 4wks postpartum and recovering from double pneumonia." "

Another update
STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND PRAY FOR JENNIFER RIGHT NOW:
Josh got a call at 8:30 this morning saying Jenn was struggling to keep her oxygen levels up. The pulmonologist called him and her dad in to talk. The decided it was best to move her to the heart tower and take her to the OR to put her on a bypass machine. Said that they wanted her lungs to do NO work. They want to bypass her lungs. Drawing blood out, oxygenate it and then push it back in her body. They have her in the OR now and said it would take about a hour. Update coming later...

And another
"They have her on an echmo machine and bypass machine. Her lungs are not doing any work on their own. Before this they had 100% oxygen going straight to her lungs. She was only maintaining 74%. Her oxygenation level was at 44 and at her age should be in the 300's. The cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. Applebee said at her levels she was incompatible for life. With the new machines in place she is responding well so far. They will keep her like this for several days to make sure she is staying properly oxygenated.
Thanks for all the prayers my God has a plan and I'm accepting to what comes our way. We are in many churches prayer requests. We appreciate all the prayers, encouragement, offers to help, and spreading her name to other churches for prayer."

Another update
At this point the air pockets in Jenn's lungs are full of fluid, we are waiting for the fluid in her lungs to work its way out allowing the hospital staff to give her more opportunity to work her lungs on her own!
**More info in Under the Hat, because her family has requested it not to be shared publicly. If anyone who's a member of this board, but not part of Under the Hat, and would like the extended update feel free to PM me and I will gladly share.
