It seems like there are so many different kinds of formula out there now ...

What made you decide on the kind of formula?

We are supplumenting with Nestle Goodstart. We didnt want our son to go on "cheap" stuff as I prefer it , even tho I can buy 2 tins for the price of 1 tin of the formula we chose. we want the best for our son, it isnt the most expensive brand but we like the fact he doenst spit up much from it. but non the less, he doesn't get to much of formula so..

We also used Nestle Goodstart based on our pediatrician's recommendation in regards to it being easy on baby's tummies. He did great on it.

We are using Similac Advance with Early Sheild. We decided on this because of her doctor's recommendation.

I use Enfamil because of doctor recommendation. Don't use much, but I like it.

We use the Similac Advance too... it was the first kind we tried and she hasn't had an issue So no need to change

I chose the formula I use based on the fact that it is one of few over the counter ones that did not test positive for melamine, perchlorate, and pesticides, and it is the only over the counter formula that does not use the hexane process to extract DHA.

Not a spokesperson for it or anything...it just angers me the corners being cut with out children's safety for a profit.
