Sam has decided this week he wants to BF all dayand have bottles at night which means no lovely laying down and BFing when he wakes for a feed - we end up having to get a bottle ready every time instead. I hope this is just a phase he grows out of.

Sorry- that's gotta be frustrating! I've yet to master BF'ing lying down, I don't think I have the right shape/size breasts for it - ?! I fill up the bottles with water, cap them, and bring the can of formula into the room at night to make it a little easier. Plus, she doesn't wake up Liana with her screaming waiting for Mom to get her act together and FEED ME!!! I hope it's a phase & you get your night time lovely back.

Thank you! Sam's not being very helpful with nighttimes at the moment! He won't even BF sitting up, he just seems to prefer bottles at night. How many bottles does Emily have in the night?

That stinks! Emily eats often, but not much, at night. She'll chow a 3-4 oz bottle, then eats an ounce or 2 several times to fall back asleep. she'll BF for a minute or so in the night but falls asleep before getting any quantity. She usually wakes 6-7 times. ugh.............
