Agreed ^^ harder on myself than others. It's funny how even comments that I read on JM that arent even addressed to me can have a subconsious impact. I was reading a post last night that equated formula feeding to being more poisinous than smoking in a car in front of your child. I just shook my head. No mom wants to think that they're poisoning their baby!! I think MOST people that do feel 'guilty' about it are often times the ones that try the hardest. I know that has been the case with me anyways.
OMG!! I totally have to agree with you all!! When I was EBF- people would praise me and hug me and say 'You are doing the best thing for your baby" (granted yes I am but nothing is wrong with formula either) ----- so when I started having to supplement, 'those' same people would say "Well, I guess if you have to feed him formula..its better then nothing". But like razzle said - people don't care if you smoke in front of your baby but god forbid you give your baby formula!!!!!!! UGH!!
I just tell people "My boobs weren't putting out enough so instead of having my baby starve, I am giving him formula too" --- it usually shuts then up pretty fast
