Hey all!!

I have a 4 month old boy named Remington. We have been exclusively breast feeding since day one but Remi got super sick a few weeks ago and ended up in the hospital. He was refusing to latch and was only wanting to eat 2-3 a day so we were forced to supplement. Now, he is starting to prefer bottle over boob so we've now been doing both.

I try to pump but my pump isn't strong enough anymore (nor do I have money to replace parts to make it stronger) -- so my question is - how do I ensure my supply doesn't decrease? I'm already taking fenugreek 3x a day ( 3 pills at a time) and drink mothers milk and eating oatmeal every morning. Is there anything else to do or am I just out of luck if my milk starts to diminish?

I'll join in on the new wagon - our boys are in the same playroom
Colin is 4 months and we've been BFing since day 1. We have been supplementing for about 3 months for public outings, if he's being watched by someone other than me and the fedding just before bed.

Have you ever tried the Avent Manual Pump? I have one and I swear it's better than an electric. It's cheap, SUPER easy to clean and use.

Amazon.com: Philips AVENT BPA Free Manual Breast Pump, White: Baby

I hardly use it but I find when it does, it really helps with my supply and gets the job done! It's a bit of a pain since it is maunal but it really is powerful.
