When out in public or around people, what do you use to cover up your hooters when you feed? Do you have an actual "Hooter Hider" or do you use a blanket or do you just use the shirt your wearing to 'hide'?

depends on who i'm around. at home or around my friends or the women in my family (not DH's side of the family though) i don't bother really hiding it at all. they've all seen it enough so whatever! LOL!

around my nephews or anyone else i will use my udder cover. it's actually pretty nice because i don't have to worry about the blanket slipping down when he's wiggling around. plus it was only like $5!!

BUT i'm really not one to nurse in public either. i wish i was

If I'm at my parent's house, I don't bother to cover up unless someone is in the room who I know would feel uncomfortable (My 19 or 13 year old brother, for example. ) In public public, I just cover with a receiving blanket. I've found that a lot of places have nursing lounges that are nice and private.

I gave up on public nursing. I think if he was a newborn now (with my expertise behind me!) I would be able to do it, but now that he is older, he tries to grab the udder cover, (one arm over, one arm under) and it just isn't working for me! I also NEED my boppy, and can't bring it with me everywhere! So - when I'm out - I supplement.

I have a cover I use when I'm in public otherwise when I'm home I just whip my jugs out and let her feed, if we have company I just go upstairs
