I had a breast reduction 15 years ago. I've had three children since the reduction and never tried to nurse as my doc said I wouldn't be able to. I had a full nipple graph. But...I have been engorged every baby, I have extreme sensitivity in my nipples, I am already able to express some colostrom at 27 weeks, and I did express actually milk droplets with my last baby four years ago. I was a strong breastfeeding advocate with my first two children, and would in fact LOVE to try to nurse my last baby! Any success stories? I've consulted a lactation consultant and she has given me hope atleast to try!!!

My friends husband is a plastic surgeon. He says after breast surgery you can either nurse or you can't. I think it has something to do with if the ducts were affected during surgery.
If you get engorged, pass colostrum, and express actual milk, then it seems yours works.
I'd say you should try it and see how it goes. Sounds hopeful! Good luck!
