I have breastfed and supplemented with pumped milk and formula for nearly 5 months for my twins but I'm frustrated because they eat every 2 hours. My ped says just keep feeding them on-demand...it's fine. My son is a chubby healthy guy but my daughter hasn't gained as much...they're mildly concerned about her. Is there anything I can do to get them to eat bigger meals and space out the feeds? My son will sometimes eat 4-5 oz but sometimes just 1-3 oz. My supply is still low and I'm sick of pumping because it's not helping my supply and my 3 year old is so neglected because all I do is feed the twins and pump. I want to continue to breastfeed and supplement but I'm weaning myself from pumping to free up my time. Any tips on how to not have to feed them every 2 hours? Sometimes when I try to get them to eat more they just stick their tongue out to push the bottle away.
